Repulse Bay
Repulse Bay is a bay located in the southern part of Hong Kong Island, east of Deep Water Bay and west of Middle Bay and South Bay, in the Hong Kong Southern District of China. With a length of 292 meters, Repulse Bay Beach is famous for its soft white sand. The water is clear, calm and especially attractive for taking a dip. In fact, the beautiful Repulse Bay Beach has been the main bathing beach on Hong Kong Island since the 19th century, when the island's public bus service was first launched to serve beachgoers.

Kwun Yam Shrine is situated in the southeastern part of Repulse Bay, overlooking the sea, the shrines of two deities - Kwun Yam, the Goddess of Mercy, and Tin Hau, the Goddess of the Sea - stand guard and will help the visitors find peace of mind. The most fascinating thing about this Taoist temple is the colorful collection of statues it houses. Among them, three celestial rams that bring prosperity and "a happy god in charge of love and marriage", around whom couples usually tie red cords with their names in the hope of living "happily ever after".
