It was first built in 223 AD, which means it has a history of almost 1,800 years. The temple covers an area of about 150,000 square meters, with a construction area of about 10,000 square meters, divided into three main areas: the relic area, the garden area and the Jinli district.

The relics zone is the core area of Wuhou Temple and includes the temple itself, Zhuge Liang's tomb, and the temple museum. Wuhou Temple, located in the central axis of the complex, occupies approximately 10,000 square meters and features a majestic and serious architectural style. Zhuge Liang's tomb is located to the east of the temple, covering an area of approximately 10,000 square meters. The garden area is the scenic part of Wuhou Temple and includes Jinli Pavilion, Seven Star Pond and Wuhou Temple Garden. The Jinli Pavilion, located to the west of the temple, is the core of the garden area and covers about 10,000 square meters. Its architecture is elegant and ancient, and its surroundings are beautiful and pleasant. The Seven Star Pond, located to the east of the temple, covers about 10,000 square meters and its waters are crystal clear, surrounded by a variety of exquisite plants. The Wuhou Temple Garden, south of the temple, occupies about 10,000 square meters and is filled with flowers and trees of all seasons, creating a beautiful and varied landscape.

Jinli District is the commercial area of Wuhou Temple and includes Jinli Street and Kuanzhai Street. Jinli Street, located to the east of the temple, covers about 10,000 square meters and is an old street with a variety of shops selling a wide range of snacks and local crafts. Kuanzhai Street, west of the temple, also covers about 10,000 square meters and is famous for its well-preserved ancient houses dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties.

In early autumn time, Wuhou Temple looks even more beautiful. With the autumn breeze, the trees in the temple become greener and more lush, and the flowers and grasses more beautiful. Under the warm autumn sun, the temple architecture seems even more majestic and solemn.
