Our guide will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby to begin exploring the historic city of Beijing. First, we will visit Tian'anmen Square, the largest in the world, which has been the scene of numerous political and historical events. You will cross the square and visit the Forbidden City, the largest and most complete imperial palace in the world, which was the residence of the emperors.

We will have lunch at a local restaurant with culinary delights. After lunch, we will tour the Beijing Hutongs, alleys built during the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, filled with houses around the Hutongs, where residents lead a traditional life. You will visit the Chengdu Panda Breeding Research Base, a non-profit center dedicated to the research and breeding of giant pandas and other rare animal species. It is an area of ancient streets preserved from the Qing Dynasty (1616-1912) in Chengdu, and is a reflection of ancient life in the city. Afterwards, you will return to the hotel. If you want to plan activities for the evening, the mask changing show is a great option.

Then, you will take a bus to Tianzishan Mountain and we will spend the whole afternoon there. Here, the landscapes vary according to the seasons and even during the day. The mountain peaks, the sea of clouds, the sunrise and the snow in winter are impressive landscapes.

You will descend by cable car from Tianzishan Mountain and return to the hotel. In the evening, a good option would be to attend a popular show called "Xiangxi Incredible."

Tianmenshan is the highest mountain in Zhangjiajie. You will take the cable car to ascend, with a total duration of 40 minutes. It is the longest cable car in Asia. After lunch, you will take a bus along the 99 curves road, symbolizing the nine palaces of heaven, until you reach the Tianmen Cave area. This road is a world wonder. Tianmen Cave is a natural karst cave, the highest in the world. Before reaching the cave, you will have to conquer 999 steps, which is quite a challenge.

At the conclusion of today's visit, you will be transferred directly to Zhangjiajie Airport for a flight to Shanghai. Your guide in Shanghai will be waiting for you at the airport and will help you get to the hotel.
