Our guide will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby to begin exploring the historic city of Beijing. First, we will visit Tian'anmen Square, the largest in the world, which has been the scene of numerous political and historical events. You will cross the square and visit the Forbidden City, the largest and most complete imperial palace in the world, which was the residence of the emperors.

We will have lunch at a local restaurant with culinary delights. After lunch, we will tour the Beijing Hutongs, alleys built during the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, filled with houses around the Hutongs, where residents lead a traditional life. Then, we will head to Jingshan Park, where from the top of Coal Hill you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the Forbidden City. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to taste Chinese tea at the China Tea House.

On the way back to the hotel, you can choose to plan a visit to a night show or enjoy a delicious Beijing Lacquered Duck (optional extra service), and ask the guide about other night activities.

Our guide will be waiting for you at the hotel lobby and today you will leave for Mutianyu Great Wall by private car to explore the Great Wall. The Great Wall runs through six provinces and one autonomous region in northern China, and the Mutianyu section is the most popular with foreign tourists. If you prefer not to walk to the Wall, you can choose to take the cable car to tour it.


At noon, you will enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant, where you can try the delicious local cuisine. After lunch, you will return to Beijing city. On the way back, you will have the opportunity to visit the exterior of the Beijing National Stadium (Bird's Nest) and the National Aquatics Center (Water Cube), two impressive structures built for the Beijing Olympic Games. Then, you can visit the China Pearl Museum, where you will find high-quality pearls.


Back at the hotel, you can plan evening activities such as massages and bars on Houhai Street.

Today you will visit the latest tourist attraction in Beijing, the Temple of Heaven, where emperors used to pray for good harvests. It is the largest structure in China dedicated to celestial sacrifice. In the morning, local Beijing residents practice tai chi and dance at the Temple of Heaven Square.


After the visit, you will be transferred to Beijing train station to take the high-speed train to Shanghai. Your guide in Shanghai will be waiting for you at the train station and will take you to the hotel. Before leaving Beijing, you can buy some packed food as lunch on the train.

Today you will enjoy a full day exploring Shanghai. First, we will visit the Jade Buddha Temple, then we will go to the Shanghai Silk Museum, and then we will take a walk in the Yuyuan Garden, which is a classical Chinese garden in the center of the city. Then, you will climb the Eastern Pearl Tower to enjoy a panoramic view of the city, this being the third tallest television and radio tower in the world. After the tour, you can stroll along the Bund, a famous promenade in Shanghai. Then you will pass through Nanjing Street, which is the first choice for shopping. If you are interested, today you can also choose to watch a stunt show (Additional optional activity).
